Jack Sprats is a regular meeting place for the Veg NE members as they look after
us so well.
Both the day time & evening menus are impressive as there is such a large choice
of options with many vegan options
& even several gluten free & wheat free meals & deserts.
The food is very tasty and there is always plenty of it and the prices are very
reasonable.
The vegan breakfasts are very popular with the group along with vegan toad in
the hold for a Sunday lunch.
Jack Sprats has a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere and very spacious too.
There are plenty of comfortable couches along with more than enough tables, a PC
and games.
Popular with families as its very child friendly with many options for the kids
& even toys.
Lunches & Sunday dinners are great too along with plenty of light snacks &
refreshments all priced nicely.

The Sky Apple is a favourite haunt of many Veg NE members and has been in
business for quite some time.
During the day it’s a busy café serving great breakfasts, lunches, snacks &
drinks.
On Thursday to Saturday evenings it becomes a restaurant with a full menu that
changes monthly.
Well worth a visit with a nice atmospheres and friendly staff.

Bob Trollops pub is the only veggie pub we have heard of and very popular with
the Veg NE members.
Sadly they don’t have any vegetarian beers or wines but we do keep nagging them,
we live in hope.
Vegetarians love the food at BT’s as its proper pub food at pub prices & yes
they do the odd vegan option too.
Veg NE members meet here at least once a month.
